Selection of the grapes in the cut and transport in boxes directly to the vinery. Vinification with crushing and total destemming. Open press fermentation with controlled temperature.
The 100 Hectares wines, a name that has its origin in the total vineyards area, belong to the brothers André Brás and Filipe Brás. These wines are family wines produced with the daily hard work of those who want excellence. This family, which has a passion for the Douro region, makes big investments in the purchase and renovation of the properties located in Baixo Congo. The vineyards are the origin of its wines since they are exclusively made from its grape varieties, something that is at the center of the family production philosophy because the duty of passing on the legacy from generation to generation is a deep-rooted feeling since the 1970s. The philosophy of these producers is “The land was not given to us by our parents, but borrowed by our children" (In Portuguese: "A terra não nos foi doada pelos nossos pais, mas emprestada pelos nossos filhos”.)
